Get Notified on New Overlaps for a Specific Report in Slack
Notifications to specific Slack channels can be configured per Report by setting up Report Notifications.
🔔 You can send notifications to public or private channels (including Slack Connect channels), and you can route them directly to sales reps with Slack Mentions.
To mention your sales reps in report notifications for public or private Slack channels, make sure:
You include “Account Executive Email” and “Account Executive Name” in your population(s)
“Account Executive Name” and “Account Executive Email” are configured as columns in your report
To mention your sales rep and a partner’s sales rep in report notifications for a public or private Slack Connect channel, make sure:
Your partner is sharing data for their population with you, and the fields “Account Executive Email” and “Account Executive Name” are included.
You configure your Account Executive Name and Account Executive Email and your Partner's Account Executive Name and Account Executive Email as columns in your report.
If the account executive isn't in the Slack or Slack Connect channel, they won't get alerted — but they'll still get mentioned so other members in the channel can easily add them.
If you include the Account Executive Name in your reports and populations, but not the Account Executive Email, the notification will just display the account executive’s name.

Currently, no. You can only have one Crossbeam account connected to Slack. It will be the one that you are in when you authorize Slack. Connecting Slack in a second organization will remove the Slack connection from your first organization.
Can I send notifications to private channels?
Yes, as long as you have invited the Crossbeam app into the private channel. This applies to Slack Connect channels as well.
