How to Install the Crossbeam Copilot for Salesforce
To install the Crossbeam Copilot for Salesforce, you will first need to visit the Salesforce AppExchange here and click the Get It Now button.
When new versions of the Crossbeam Copilot for Salesforce are released, you will return to the AppExchange to complete updates.

You must have a Sales seat and be on the Connector Plan or Supernode plan to have access to the Crossbeam Copilot for Salesforce.
The Crossbeam Copilot for Salesforce is available on all three plans:
Explorer: Install the Preview Crossbeam Copilot for Salesforce, with limited overview information for overlapping accounts and opportunities. To gain full access, click the Request Access button and an email will be sent to the admin with the steps on how to give you access.
Connector: includes access to the Full Copilot and allows customization of the Copilot
Supernode: includes access to the Full Copilot and allows customization of what data they see in the Copilot with the Crossbeam Custom Object

Only overlaps from Populations using Salesforce as a data source will be viewable in the Crossbeam Copilot for Salesforce.
What is the Crossbeam Copilot for Salesforce
The Copilot is your companion while viewing accounts in Salesforce.
Click on Account tab to see Account Highlights and Recommended Plays
Click on Partners tab to see Partner Tags, Get Intel, and to view more details
Click on Contacts tab to see details on the best contacts for opportunities and to see Partner Connections
Click on Plays tab to see a list of actionable next steps
From the Partners tab, you can quickly locate the Partners who have the account in their Customers Population if you see the label Customers highlighted in orange with a star. Additionally, you can see the custom Partner Tags from Crossbeam for each Partner.
View detailed information your partner shares with you directly in Salesforce by clicking on View next to the partner you want to view data for.
Sort Partners
Custom Partner Sorting lets you decide which partners you want to appear at the top of your Crossbeam Copilot for Salesforce. The default sorting view can be set to alphabetical order (A to Z or Z to A) or customized. To change the sorting view in the Copilot:
Open the Crossbeam Settings by clicking on the gear icon.
In the pop-up window, click on Partner Sort Settings tab.
Find the partner(s) to prioritize in your view and click the Pencil icon.
In the box to the left of the Pencil icon, you will be able to type in a numerical position for the selected partner.
Click the Save icon to the right of the Pencil icon and close the setting page.
Now, reload the main page to see the updated sorting view.
Additionally, you can change the default sorting view in the Full Copilot by clicking the arrow button to open the dropdown menu. Here you can select Sort A-Z, Sort Z-A, or Sort Default, which will refer back to the configuration in the Crossbeam Sorting Partners Setting.
Filter Account Partner Status
Adjust the view of the Partner accounts in the Crossbeam Copilot for Salesforce by clicking on the funnel to select from the dropdown menu option. See all Partners, Partner Customers, Partner Open Opportunities, or Partner Prospects.
✍️ Note
Only users with the Crossbeam Setup User permission set can access the Settings page. Crossbeam settings are applied globally for all users of the Crossbeam Copilot for Salesforce.
How to Display or Hide Fields
Crossbeam Admins can select which Crossbeam fields they want visible in the Crossbeam Copilot for Salesforce. To change the view details:
Open the Crossbeam Settings by clicking on the gear icon
In the pop-up window, click on the Partner Field Settings tab
Select a Partner name under the Partner list
Click on the name to open the menu of Salesforce Objects
Click on an Object to open a detailed table of fields
To the right of each field, you can toggle the button to Hidden or Displayed
Click the Close button to exit the settings page
Now you can open the View Detail next to a partner in the Copilot and see the updated edits to the fields.
Get Intel Button
If you have a seat in Crossbeam for Sales, you will have the option to start a conversation with a partner in the Crossbeam Copilot for Salesforce.
Locate the partner you want to reach out to and click on the Get Intel button
If a Get Intel button displays an X, that partner is not available for this feature
Next, select the warm introduction to start the conversation or create your own by clicking on +Add your own question
Click Choose Partners
Check the box next to the Partner you want to reach out to
Click Add Context
In this window, write additional context based on the prompt provided
Click Preview Your Message
Preview your message and click Edit to make changes or click Send
Plays and Contacts
Use Plays and Contacts in the Crossbeam Copilot for Salesforce to access the best contacts, expedite deal closures, and gain insights into the most effective next steps. Filter out unnecessary leads, emails, and notifications, and equip your sellers with prime contacts and actionable steps for faster deal closures.

Crossbeam Permission Sets in the Salesforce App
Control your team’s access to sensitive data with permission sets in the Salesforce App.

Both articles serve as a guide to configuring the Crossbeam package in Salesforce.
In the Salesforce window, click the gear icon and select Setup from the dropdown menu
On the Setup page, navigate to the left side menu and locate Administration
Under Administration, click on Users to see the dropdown list of options
On the dropdown list, again locate users and click on it to open a new panel to the right with a list of users
Click on the full name of the user to open a detailed list of information on the user
Next, click on Permission Set Assignments to open all the assignments for the user
You will click on Edit Assignments and will now be able to change the Permission Sets for the user
On the left column under Available Permission Sets, click on permission(s) you want to assign
Click on the Add arrow button and now the new permission(s) will be listed under the right column named Enabled Permission Sets
You can remove Crossbeam permission sets Under Enabled Permission Sets by selecting them and clicking on the Remove arrow button
Click Save to exit the Setup process
Configure Partner Data in Crossbeam
To customize what Partner data is available in Salesforce, you will need to configure the Copilot settings in your Crossbeam account.
Simply open the Integrations area in Crossbeam and click on the Settings button in the
Crossbeam Copilot for Salesforce row.
In the settings modal:
Select from the dropdown option under the Salesforce Connection and choose which Salesforce connection(s) you would like to configure
Next, expand the Population data fields for your data and your Partner's data
Check the boxes for the Population data you want to show and uncheck the boxes to restrict the Population data to be shared
Click the Save button when you are done.
❗️Important
You can apply the same Copilot settings to the Custom Object settings. Simply open the Integrations area in Crossbeam and click on the Settings button in the
Salesforce Custom Object row.
In the modal:
Click Go to Widget to see current Widget settings (edit, if needed)
Click the box next to Use same customization setting as Widget
Click the Save button
What is the Crossbeam Custom Object
The Crossbeam Custom Object allows you to customize what data shows up in the Crossbeam Copilot for Salesforce, and is only available on the Supernode plan.
