What is Crossbeam AI?

Crossbeam AI is a role-aware assistant embedded directly in the Crossbeam app. It turns ecosystem intelligence like partner overlaps, influence signals, and ELG playbooks into natural language interactions, so you can ask a question, get a personalized response, and act on it immediately.


What Can Crossbeam AI do?

  • Retrieve partner overlap insights and influence signals directly from your partner data

  • Answer tactical and strategic questions like:

    • “Which deals have partner overlap but no activity?”

    • “Draft an intro message for Partner X.”

  • Recommend next best actions and execute them—like:

    • Create a smart list

    • Send a Slack message

    • Trigger a Salesforce update

  • Surface relevant ELG playbook guidance or help documentation based on your question

Use Cases

  • Streamline workflows: no need to click through multiple tools, just ask a question and get what you need

  • Accelerate sales cycles: surface ecosystem insights at key deal stages and take immediate action

How it Works

  • Location: Look for the Crossbeam AI icon in the top-right corner of the app

  • Powered by: A large language model (LLM), with OpenAI as a subprocessor

  • Data access:

    • Your partner data (e.g., overlaps, attribution fields, CRM context)

    • Crossbeam ELG playbooks

    • Help center content and documentation

  • Publicly available data: We use data such as job postings, company websites, and other public sources to help determine customer lists for these companies. We strive for accuracy within the limits of this public data.

  • Integrated with: Slack, Salesforce (where applicable), and Lists (beta)

  • Role-aware: Adapts its answers based on user type (e.g., Sales Seat vs. Full Access)


FAQs

Is my data secure?
Yes. Crossbeam AI only accesses data from your account and uses OpenAI as a subprocessor under strict security and compliance measures.

Can I turn off or limit access to Crossbeam AI?
Yes. Admins can manage access to Crossbeam AI in workspace settings.

Does Crossbeam AI take action automatically?
Only when prompted. It may suggest actions, but you stay in control of what gets executed.
