Setting Up a Crossbeam Ecosystem Overlaps Related List in Salesforce

Once the custom object is installed, this guide walks you step by step through configuring the page layout, so users with the proper permissions can view the related list.

You can display Crossbeam data directly on Account or Opportunity records by adding the Crossbeam Ecosystem Overlaps related list. This allows users to see partner overlap details from Crossbeam within Salesforce. An SFDC admin can complete this setup, and anyone with Crossbeam Report User permissions will be able to access the related list once added.


How to Add Crossbeam Ecosystem Overlaps

  • In Salesforce, click the gear icon in the top-right corner and select Setup

  • In the Setup menu, select the Object Manager tab

  • Choose either Account or Opportunity, depending on where you want Crossbeam Ecosystem Overlaps to appear

  • In the left-hand menu, click Page Layouts

  • Select the layout you want to edit (e.g., Account Layout)

  • At the top of the editor, click Related Lists

  • Find Crossbeam Ecosystem Overlaps, then drag and drop it into the Related Lists section of the layout

  • To customize the fields shown, click the wrench/tool icon on the Crossbeam Ecosystem Overlaps related list

  • Select the fields youโ€™d like to display

  • Recommended Fields to Include:

    • Partner Name

    • Partner Standard Populations

    • Partner Populations

    • Partner Record Owner Name

    • Partner Record Owner Email
