Overview

Attribution in Crossbeam helps you understand how your partners contribute to your pipeline. Whether a partner sourced an opportunity or influenced it, attribution provides visibility into those contributions so you can measure impact and optimize collaboration.

Where to Find Attribution in Crossbeam

In Crossbeam, click Attribution from the left-hand menu. This opens the Attribute Workspace, where you'll see a high-level overview and tools to explore opportunities in detail.

All Opportunities Overview

At the top of the workspace, you’ll see a dashboard summarizing your opportunity data, including:

  • Total Sourced: Opportunities that originated directly from a partner

  • Total Influenced: Opportunities where a partner contributed after the opportunity was already in play

  • Total Unattributed: Opportunities without partner involvement

  • Time to Close with Partners: Average time it takes to close deals involving a partner

    • Time to Close without Partners: A comparison metric for deals closed without partner involvement

Filter and Customize Your View

You can tailor the All Opportunities view by:

  • Searching for a specific account

  • Applying filters for:

    • Sales stage

    • Partner

    • Tags

  • Adjusting date ranges and deal amounts

To further customize the metrics shown, click the gear icon next to All Opportunities.

Accounts Table

Below the All Opportunities overview, you'll find a table listing individual accounts. For each row, you'll see:

  • Account name

  • Assigned partner(s)

  • Attribution type: Sourced, Influenced, or Review Attribution

  • Deal amount

  • Sales stage

  • Closed date

Assign Attribution to a Partner

To review attribution, click on any account name in the table to open a side panel with more details. From here, you can:

  • View the assigned partner

  • Change or add the attribution type (Sourced or Influenced)

  • Add or update attribution to include additional partners

Click on Activity to see deeper context for the account. The Activity Timeline shows partner interactions and signals that can guide your decision to mark a deal as sourced or influenced.

If Salesforce Attribution Push is configured, you will see a Salesforce link in the side panel. Click it to be redirected to your Salesforce instance.
