Reveal users will be transitioning from the Reveal platform to Crossbeam, and our team is here to support you every step of the way. This FAQ will provide the information you need to ensure a smooth transition.
This FAQ applies specifically to Free Reveal users. If you are a paying Reveal customer, our team will provide dedicated assistance during your transition. For any further questions, please reach out directly to your Customer Success Manager.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I need to move from Reveal to Crossbeam?
Reveal and Crossbeam have merged, learn more here! We have decided to host the combined network on the Crossbeam Platform. It will represent the world’s largest repository of ecosystem data.
When will I no longer be able to use Reveal?
Reveal will sunset for free users in June 2025, that is 12 months post our merger announcement. We encourage all users to transition to Crossbeam long before this date to avoid any disruption.
How do I transition to Crossbeam?
We have two possible migration paths. The email your Reveal Admins receive will guide them through the correct process, depending on whether or not we found an existing Crossbeam account for your company.
Option 1: My company did not have a Crossbeam account before.
Crossbeam has already set up your company’s organization, partnerships, and users on the platform. Your Reveal Admins will receive an invitation to join the newly created Crossbeam workspace. Here’s what needs to happen:
Admin Sign-Up: One of your admins needs to sign up and complete the initial setup.
Complete Setup: This includes reauthenticating your data sources and configuring data-sharing preferences with partners.
We’re migrating everyone simultaneously to ensure a smooth transition, and your partners should join at the same time. If some of your partners haven’t yet joined, accepted your invitation, or started sharing data, they might still be in the process of moving over. Feel free to reach out to them if needed!
I’ve signed up for Crossbeam and see partnerships. What are these?
If your company didn’t have a Crossbeam account before, these partnerships are being recreated as we transfer your partners who are also moving to Crossbeam.
I’ve signed up for Crossbeam and see pending invites. What are these?
If your partners already had Crossbeam accounts, we sent them an invitation on your behalf to migrate your partnership. You just need to wait for them to accept!
Will all of my teammates be invited to join the Crossbeam account?
Initially, only admins will receive the migration email. Once one admin signs up and completes the setup (including connecting data sources), all your former Reveal teammates will automatically be invited to join via the admin.
If you have five users on Reveal, only three can be migrated to Crossbeam, with priority given to Admins and the longest-standing users.
Option 2: My company already has a Crossbeam account.
In this case, your Reveal Admins will receive an email informing them that your company already has a Crossbeam workspace. The email will include the names of your current Crossbeam admins, so your Reveal Admins can reach out and request access.
What happens to my data on Reveal?
Please be aware that data and settings from Reveal will not be transferred to Crossbeam. As part of your initial Crossbeam setup, you’ll need to connect a data source directly to the platform. Once connected, you’ll be able to resume account mapping with your partners.
After transitioning away from Reveal, be sure to manually disconnect and delete your data sources from the platform to avoid any unnecessary API costs. You can do it from your data sources page directly. Please note that all data will be automatically deleted when Reveal is officially sunset.
I’m using Collaborate - will my collabs be moved over to Crossbeam?
Please note that any data or messages in the Collaborate section will not be transferred to Crossbeam. However, Crossbeam offers a collaboration tool through its Shared Lists feature, allowing you to continue working seamlessly with your partners.

Crossbeam takes data security as seriously as Reveal. We encourage you to review our privacy and security policies on the Crossbeam platform. You can learn more about our compliance measures and certifications here.
