✍️ Note

Crossbeam is migrating customers from the legacy Crossbeam Copilot app to the new Crossbeam integration. The legacy card is labeled Crossbeam, and the new card is labeled Crossbeam Copilot. Both cards can run side by side during migration.

This migration is required by a HubSpot platform change.

Before You Begin

❗️Important

In HubSpot

Customizing a record view (Step 1) and managing Connected Apps (Step 3) both require HubSpot Super Admin access or a permission set that includes App Marketplace Access and Account Customization. If you don't have these permissions, contact your HubSpot Super Admin before starting.

Click here for the HubSpot Permissions Guide.

Add the New Crossbeam Copilot Card

  • Navigate to your HubSpot instance and open CRM

  • Open a record and click Customize on the right-hand sidebar

  • Select the default view or the specific view used by the customer's team

  • Click the + icon to add a card

  • Search for Crossbeam and select the Crossbeam Copilot card from the results

  • Click Save and exit

Confirm the New Card Is Loading

  • Return to the record and refresh the page

  • You'll see both the legacy card and the new card loading. The new card is labeled Crossbeam Copilot

Uninstall the Legacy Integration

  • Click the settings gear icon at the top of HubSpot

  • Navigate to Integrations > Connected Apps

  • Identify the correct app to uninstall. Two apps will be listed:

    • The new connection, Crossbeam, powering the migrated card

    • The legacy app, Crossbeam Copilot

  • Select the legacy app and click Uninstall

  • Type uninstall to confirm

Verify the Legacy Card Is Removed

  • Go back to CRM and open the same record

  • Confirm the legacy card is gone and only the new Crossbeam Copilot card remain
