Learn how to connect your Microsoft Dynamics data to Crossbeam.

In this article:

Before You Begin

Before connecting Microsoft Dynamics to Crossbeam, make sure the following requirements are met:

Admin Setup Required

A Microsoft Dynamics admin must complete the initial connection. Company admins should go to admin.microsoft.com to assign the correct permissions to the user setting up the integration.

The assigned user must have:

  • A Microsoft Dynamics 365 license

  • Read access to the following objects:

    • Leads

    • Accounts

    • Contacts

    • Opportunities

  • Access level: Basic or higher

  • API permissions, including the ability to:

    • Generate access tokens

    • Generate refresh tokens

  • API view and configuration permissions enabled

If these permissions are not set correctly, the sync will fail or behave unexpectedly.

Once setup is complete and the connection is authorized, you'll be prompted to begin syncing your data into Crossbeam.

  • Scroll down and click Microsoft Dynamics

  • Click Connect Microsoft Dynamics to confirm that you would like to create a Microsoft Dynamics connection
