Introduction

This release introduces streamlined Salesforce permissions for improved control, updated role names for greater clarity, new HubSpot fields to enhance data management (beta), multi-currency support to expand global usability, and advanced tracking for attribution activities to surface deeper insights. These updates are designed to simplify workflows and improve overall visibility.


New Features

  • Ecosystem Activities Tracking

    • Description: These new activities provide clear visibility into a partner's contribution on account progress—for example, when a seller adds a missing contact to the CRM from Crossbeam Copilot.

    • Benefit: Enhanced tracking and visibility into attribution activities for deeper insights.

  • HubSpot Fields (beta)

    • Description: These new fields pushed to standard Company object can be used as filters to enhance reports.

    • Benefit: Fields are pushed directly to standard Company to capture and manage your data in your existing workflows more effectively.

  • Multi-Currency support:

    • Description:Deal amounts are represented in USD by converting all currencies using current exchange rates (not the rates at the time of deal closure). This ensures accurate revenue metrics and provides clear, reliable insights into your ecosystem data.

    • Benefit:Seamlessly manage transactions across global markets.

  • Partner Visibility (beta--available by request only. Talk to your CSM to learn more):

    • Description: This feature grants data visibility only to select users based on roles or need-to-know criteria.

    • Benefit: Enhance data security and fostering collaboration.

  • Use Pipedrive as a data source:

    • Description: Easily connect your Pipedrive CRM to Crossbeam for automated account mapping & real-time ecosystem insights

    • Benefit: Easily connect Pipedrive, share relevant data, and keep your team focused with auto-updates, actionable insights, streamlined workflows, and timely notifications on target accounts.


Enhancements

  • DUNS (Data Universal Numbering System) matching (beta):

    • Description: DUNS in our matching algorithm adds an extra layer of precision by utilizing the unique business identifier.

    • Benefit: Match with even higher confidence when both you and your partner have DUNS data available, ensuring more reliable and accurate matching.

  • Optional Salesforce Permissions

    • Description: Crossbeam now allows Salesforce integration user connections with fewer required permissions.

    • Benefit: Streamlined permissions for improved control and efficiency.

  • Updated role names

    • Description: Updated role names to be more inclusive of all personas using the Crossbeam platform.

    • Benefit: Clearer, more intuitive role names to better reflect responsibilities.
