Overview
Crossbeam's sales features give your team the tools to find new pipeline, accelerate open deals, co-sell with partners, and measure ecosystem impact—all from within Crossbeam and the tools your sellers already use every day. Plan and seat requirements can vary by feature; see each section below for details.
For more details on seat types and permissions, see Managing User Seats and Roles in Crossbeam.
Sales Settings in Crossbeam
Seats required: Sales seat (Manager role) or Full Access seat (Admin) · Connector or Supernode plan
Sales Settings is where to configure everything your team can access, such as enabled partners and account data, co-selling templates, managing Slack shared channels, and notifications.
Step 1: Access Sales Settings
From the Crossbeam navigation, go to Settings → Sales Settings
Step 2: Enable partners
Follow the setup prompts under Partner and Account Data
Check the boxes for the partners you want your team to access, and click continue
Select an account status for each partners custom Population and click continue
Click the Confirm and Import Data button
Manage enabled Partners by clicking on Enabled Partners
From the partner view, you can:
Configure Inbox Settings, including enabling or disabling Direct Shared Conversations
Use the three-dot menu to edit co-selling templates, manage partner settings, or hide partner data
Assign or update the Partner Manager
Add collateral links
View partner requests
Review overlapping accounts and send messages
✍️ Note
If a partner isn't appearing under Enabled Partners, they haven't been activated yet. Click Manage under Crossbeam to search for and add them.
Step 3: Set up co-selling templates
Co-selling templates define the questions your sales reps can ask partners and the context they should provide before starting a conversation. Setting up templates also enables Get Intel for your sellers.
Access Co-Selling Template settings
Go to Settings → Sales Settings → Co-Selling Templates
Click Edit Templates, add your question text, and optionally use Limit to Specific Partners to restrict it to certain partners
Toggle Allow Custom Questions on if you want reps to add their own questions
Click Continue
Next, type talking points directly into the context table
Click +Add for each new prompt
Click Save Changes when done
Step 4: Set up Shared Slack Channels
Go to Settings → Sales Settings, click Add to Slack, and follow the prompts to install the app
Once installed, click Manage Slack Shared Channels and select the correct Slack channel for each partner from the dropdown
Click Save Changes when done
✍️ Note
For private Slack channels, the Crossbeam Slack app must be added to the channel directly in Slack via channel name → Integrations → Apps before it will appear in the dropdown. Your partner must also have fully joined the channel first.
Step 5: Configure alerts
Go to Settings → Sales Settings → Alerts, toggle notification types on or off
Click Save Changes
✍️ Note
If Slack is not configured, all notifications default to email.
Pipeline Generation
Seats required: Sales seat or Full Access seat · Connector or Supernode plan (Explorer: limited access)
Pipeline Generation helps your sales team find warm, high-potential net-new accounts based on ecosystem connections. Instead of cold outreach, it surfaces Top Prospects — accounts that overlap with your partners and match your ICP—so sellers can prioritize leads that already have built-in trust and relevance.
Sellers can filter by Account Owner, Industry, Number of Employees, Partners, and Country, or sort by Recent Partner Customer to see accounts that have just become a partner's customer—a strong buying intent signal.
Available in Crossbeam and in Salesforce.
Deal Navigator
Seats required: Sales seat or Full Access seat · Connector or Supernode plan
Deal Navigator gives your sales team a prioritized view of their existing open pipeline, surfacing the deals most likely to benefit from a partner assist. Sales Managers can view all opportunities across the team and filter by opportunity owner.
Available in Crossbeam and in Salesforce.
Performance Dashboard
Seats required: Full Access seat only · Supernode plan
The Performance Dashboard gives sales leaders and partnership managers a unified view of how your partner ecosystem impacts pipeline, revenue, and sales engagement. Use it to:
Understand how partners influence pipeline and revenue
Identify reps effectively using ecosystem data
Spot missed opportunities for partner engagement
Demonstrate the ecosystem's value across your organization
The dashboard is organized into four tabs:
Open: generated pipeline metrics and open opportunities with partner overlap
Closed: closed-won opportunities influenced by partners
Team: team engagement activity across the ecosystem
Partner: partner performance and leaderboard
Dynamic Shared Lists
Seats required: Sales seat (Edit, Comment, or View Only) or Full Access seat (Manage, Edit, Comment, or View Only) · Connector or Supernode plan to create and share (Free plan: view only when shared by a partner)
✍️ Note
Sales seat users can edit, comment on, and view Dynamic Shared Lists shared with them but cannot create or share lists. Full Access seat users with Standard or Admin roles can create, share, and manage lists.
Dynamic Shared Lists give you and your partner a shared, live workspace for the accounts you're actively co-selling together. Unlike Static Shared Lists, Dynamic Shared Lists update automatically as accounts enter or leave your filter criteria—so both sides always work from current data.
Co-Selling and Get Intel (Messages)
Seats required: Sales seat or Full Access seat · Connector or Supernode plan
Get Intel is the feature sellers use to reach out to a partner directly and request intel on a shared account. It is powered by co-selling templates—once your admin has configured templates in Sales Settings, Get Intel becomes available to your team.
Sellers can access Get Intel from:
Crossbeam Copilot: Click the Get Intel button on a partner
Deal Navigator: Click the Message button in the table
Pipeline Generation: Click the Message button in the table
If the Get Intel button displays an X, that partner has not been enabled for co-selling.
Sales Notifications
Seats required: Sales seat or Full Access seat · Connector or Supernode plan
Crossbeam notifies your team of new overlaps, deal updates, and partner activity in two ways:
Sales Alerts: configured in Settings → Sales Settings → Alerts. Covers Deal Insights emails, new overlap notifications, Slack, weekly reports, and action required reminders. If Slack is not configured, all notifications default to email.
List Notifications: configured directly on any List by clicking the bell icon. Sends overlap updates via email or Slack and can notify non-Crossbeam users.
Crossbeam Copilot
Seats required: Sales seat or Full Access seat · Connector or Supernode plan
(Explorer: preview version only for Salesforce and HubSpot)
Crossbeam Copilot surfaces partner ecosystem data inside the tools your sellers already use—so they can act on partner insights without leaving their workflow. Click the article for your tool to get started:
